4 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest & Lake Bunyonyi Escape

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Wildlife Scene Safaris representative will welcome you. Begin your scenic drive toward southwestern Uganda, passing tea plantations, rolling hills, and local villages. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by early evening for refreshments, dinner, and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing from the chief warden. You will then be assigned a trekking group and begin your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. Tracking can take 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on gorilla movement. Enjoy unforgettable moments observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight. Receive your official Gorilla Trekking Certificate.

After breakfast, transfer to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi. Known as the “Lake of a Thousand Islands,” it features beautifully terraced hills and deep sparkling waters free of crocodiles, hippos, and bilharzia — making it safe for swimming. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala/Entebbe. Stop at the Uganda Equator for lunch, photos, and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe by early evening. Check into your chosen accommodation or transfer to the airport—marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
