Sample Trip Outline

Day 1:

Arusha to Serengeti – Arrival & First Night Drive

Fly or drive into the Central Serengeti and check into your tented camp before sunset. After dinner, begin your first night safari drive. Using red-filtered spotlights, your guide will help you track hyenas, owls, and possibly a prowling leopard. End the night with hot drinks around the campfire.

Day 2:

Full Night Safari – Creatures of the Darkness

After a relaxed morning, enjoy a sunset drive that continues into full night safari exploration. Visit waterholes where animals gather, search for small mammals like genets and civets, and listen to the haunting calls of hyenas echoing through the dark. Optional night photography or long-exposure stargazing session available.

Day 3:

Final Sunrise Drive & Return to Arusha

After breakfast and a final sunrise drive, begin your transfer back to Arusha. You’ll carry unforgettable memories of the Serengeti’s wild nightlife and rare nocturnal sightings. Drop-off at your hotel or airport ends the tour.
