This 10 Days Uganda Safari is a comprehensive wildlife and primate adventure showcasing the very best of the Pearl of Africa. The journey combines gorilla trekking, chimpanzee habituation, classic game drives, boat safaris, night game drives, and scenic lake experiences.

Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional Wildmyth Adventures driver-guide. You will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe, where you can relax and recover from your international flight. Depending on arrival time, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart Entebbe and drive toward Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park but rich in wildlife. Enjoy a morning game drive where you may spot zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, buffaloes, hippos, and numerous bird species.
Later, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on Lake Mburo, offering close encounters with hippos and water birds. After lunch, continue the journey through rolling hills and terraced landscapes to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing canoe excursion on Lake Bunyonyi, visiting several islands and learning about the local communities, including the Batwa/Pygmy culture. The calm waters and misty hills make this a truly scenic experience.
After lunch, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through lush countryside and highland forests. Arrive by early evening and settle into your lodge near the gorilla trekking sector.
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then begin your mountain gorilla trekking adventure through dense rainforest terrain.
Tracking time varies from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the movement of the gorilla family. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy game drives while searching for lions resting in fig trees, as well as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, topis, and other wildlife.
Continue north through the park, enjoying wildlife sightings en route, before arriving at your lodge near the Kazinga Channel.
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the best time to spot predators such as lions and leopards, along with elephants and large herds of buffalo.
Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s best wildlife waterways, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless bird species at close range.
After lunch, drive to Kibale Forest National Park, arriving in the evening.
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience (CHEX). Spend up to 6–7 hours with chimpanzees as researchers gradually familiarize them with human presence.
This immersive experience allows you to observe feeding, nesting, social interaction, hunting, and care of young chimps. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation after this in-depth primate encounter.
After breakfast, begin the journey north to Murchison Falls National Park, passing scenic landscapes, rural villages, and panoramic views of Lake Albert and the distant Blue Mountains of Congo.
Arrive in the park by early evening, check in to your lodge, and enjoy the peaceful wilderness atmosphere along the Nile River.
Enjoy an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you may see elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, antelopes, and abundant birdlife.
After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, witnessing hippos, crocodiles, and animals coming to drink at the riverbanks.
In the evening, embark on an exciting night game drive, offering a chance to spot nocturnal predators rarely seen during the day.
After breakfast, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to track white rhinos on foot. This experience completes your Uganda Big Five Safari.
After lunch, continue to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight, marking the end of a truly memorable Uganda adventure with Wildmyth Adventures.
